Easter in the mountains

Easter in Stöten is a fantastic experience for everyone – regardless age! Enjoy sunny days in the slopes with Sälen's best skiing. The Easter weeks usually deliver sunny weather, soft, slushy snow, and longer days. It's guaranteed to give you memories for life!

During the Easter in the mountains, we offer extra many activities on the schedule - for all ages! How about fun Easter activities with the childrens' best friend Vargy, Stöten's annual Easter competition 'Poolhoppet', atmospheric après ski parties in the sun, and, of course, lots of skiing?

Easter activities

Face paint

Come to Soltorget and get your face painted into a cute Easter bunny or maybe a scary witch.

When: Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday 10-12am

Blåkulla Trophy

Participate in a fun slalom competition in the World Cup slope. The rules are simple - compete side to side, the first one to the finish line wins! No registration needed, we take drop-in registrations on site. Welcome!

When: Friday 10-12am
Where: World Cup slope
Who: All who can ski
Sign up: Drop-in between 10 and 12, no need to sign up in advance

The Big Easter Adventure (Stora Påskäventyret), 7-10 yrs

Through cooperation, laughter, and fun we will try to find the big Easter egg. We meet up in the slope Vargen and ski around the mountain together. Along the way, we get missions to collect points which will bring us closer to the big egg. In order to participate in this activity, you need to be able to leave your parents, go by all the various ski lifts, and ski the blue slopes unhindered. 

When: Saturday 1-3pm
Where: The slope Vargen
Who: Children aged 7-10 years, but older kids are also welcome
Sign up: Sign up at the reception! The activity is free of charge but only has 20 spots

The Mini Adventure (Miniäventyret), 4-6 yrs

Through cooperation, laughter, and fun we will try to find the big Easter egg. We meet up in the slope Vargen and ski around the mountain together. Along the way, we get missions to collect points which will bring us closer to the big egg. In order to participate in this activity, you need to be able to leave your parents, go by button lift, and ski the green slopes unhindered. Sign up in the reception!

The Wolf Dance (Vargydansen)

Vargy the wolf gathers all his friends around the main stage by Brasseriet to dance his own wolf dance. Everyone is welcome, we meet by the après ski stage on the terrace.

Where: The stage outside of Brasseriet
Who: Children of all ages

The Pool Jump (Poolhoppet)

The annual Pool Jump is a fun competition for everyone who is not afraid of water. Even if you don't want to participate, make sure to come watch the event. You don't want to miss this show!

When:  Saturday 1:30pm

Vargy's Easter Trophy

Vargy the wolf really loves skiing and he'd like to invite all of his friends to a drop-in competition in his favorite slope Vargen. A medal will be given to all participants, but everyone is encouraged to wear a costume if they want to! Please note that an adult must be present for the entire time while the children are competing.

When: Saturday 1-2pm

Who: Children aged 3-8 who can ski are welcome

The Easter Hunt

The weekly treasure hunt is tranforming into an Easter hunt for all children! Vargy has found a trasure map in the woods and needs help to find the Easter treasure! Remember to wear good shoes and warm clothes, as the activity is held outside, regardless weather.

When: Thursday 4:15pm (we meet up at 4pm)
Where: The Wolf Bench (outside of Vattufjäll)
Who: Children aged 3-8 are welcome
