Vasalopp accommodation in Stöten in Sälen

In connection with Vasaloppet's winter week 2026, we offer accommodation packages in Stöten, which is located about 4 miles from the start of Vasaloppet. The accommodation package includes part of the dormitory on a mattress including duvet, pillow, linen package & breakfast. At the time of booking, you can also choose a dinner buffet from the restaurant Brasseriet at a discounted price.
Check-in (Saturday):
Check-in takes place for individuals at the reception of Stöten Ski Hotel and for groups directly at Vattufjäll.
Dinner (Saturday):
The dinner buffet is served at 18.00 and costs 200:-/person. Any allergies must be notified when booking.
The price is valid in connection with the booking of the above accommodation package. Ord. price 255:-
Breakfast (Sunday):
Breakfast bags are available at Vattufjäll in the fridge from the night before. Coffee is taken on your own in the coffee machine.

Entrance
The entrance is open until 22.00. Please let us know if you are coming later.
Toilet/shower
At Vattufjäll there are several toilets on the ground floor and 1 floor up at sovsalen. Showers can be found in the changing rooms on the ground floor. These are available around the clock.
Dormitory
The blackout curtains go down at 9pm every night. After that, it is good to show some caution with regard to others. From 11pm onwards, there is complete silence as far as possible!
WiFi
Stöten's facilities around Stötentorget have good access to free WiFi. Search for ”Stöten Public” and you're in business. No code needed!
Cross-country tracks
Stöten has a total of 45 kilometres of trails for both classic and skate. Below you will find a brief description of these.
- Lysrundan 3 km - Classic style. Electric light trail illuminated until 23 o'clock.
- Pipsvängen 4 km - Skate and classic style
- Training track 5 km - Skate and classic style
- Slingersvansen 7 km - Skate and classic style
- Comborundan 8,5 km - Skate and classic style
Vallabod:
You can wax your skis in the premises at Vattufjäll. If you need a more thorough waxing, there is a waxing stall at Ranchentorget and three stalls at Skidtorget. If you want to book waxing, this is done directly by contacting Stöten Ski Shop or Kaisers Skidbod.
Check-out (Sunday):
Tidy up around your mattress and make sure to put your bed linen in the designated storage before departure.
Transport:
For those of you who have booked a bus via Vasaloppet's website/Tickster, the bus will depart from one of the car parks outside Brasseriet at 04:40 on Sunday 1/3. Make sure to be there in good time! According to the timetable, the bus will arrive at the Vasalopp start at approximately 06:00. If you buy your ticket on the spot at the bus, you are not guaranteed a seat, therefore the bus organiser advises you to buy your ticket in advance.
To the rest of you who drive a car, remember that Rv 66 is closed to through traffic between Sälen and Transtrand on 1/3 between 04:30 and 09:30. You can find my info on the Vasaloppet website.
