Flights to Sälen

Since December 2019, you can get to the ski slopes as the crow flies, thanks to Scandinavian Mountains Airport (SRC). Both Swedish and international guests can now fly to Sälen with direct flights from Stockholm Bromma, Malmö Sturup, Copenhagen in Denmark and London in England.

The most convenient way to travel to the Swedish mountains

Get your family out of the back seat, shorten your journey time considerably and avoid slow traffic jams - flying takes you from airport to airport in just over an hour. And as well as being an extremely convenient travel option, it's also affordable. Book well in advance to get the best prices and keep an eye out for any last-minute deals to save a penny.

From aeroplane to ski slope in half an hour

Thanks to the airport's phenomenal location, you can now be in your ski boots just over half an hour after your flight lands! From the airport to the Stöten ski centre it takes only 18 minutes with the shuttle bus available on all arriving flights. Book your transfer ticket to secure your seat on the bus here.

The site of Scandinavian Mountains Airport was previously home to a much smaller private airport. The old runway has been extended to 2 500 metres and a mountain air traffic control tower has been built. The terminal building has the capacity to handle four flights at a time and includes a restaurant, duty-free shopping and car hire.
