Storage times

Stöten i Sälen AB follows good practice in the destination industry. Stöten i Sälen AB saves all the personal data we collect in our customer database. The same personal data can be stored in several different places for different purposes. This may mean that data that has been deleted from one system because it is no longer necessary may remain in another system where it is stored with the support of consent or for another purpose where the personal data is still needed.

Stöten i Sälen AB deletes personal data in accordance with the applicable law at any given time. This means, for example, that Stöten i Sälen AB deletes or de-identifies personal data when the purpose for processing the personal data no longer exists.

The AI assistant

On stoten.se and our other websites, you can ask an AI assistant questions. It provides answers based on the content on our website and the available accommodation in our booking system. The answers are generated by AI and may contain errors. Prices and terms and conditions are always confirmed at the time of booking.

What is covered. The question you ask, the answer you receive, the language and the time. Please do not include any names, contact details or other personal information in your enquiry. Email addresses, telephone numbers and personal identification numbers are automatically removed before the enquiry is saved. Your IP address is used briefly to protect the service from overload. It is not saved alongside the enquiry.

Why?. To be able to respond to you, and to see what visitors are searching for so that we can improve the website and the service. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a good service and developing our website.

Who can view the information. The service is operated by Grandevu AB, which is our data processor, and is based in Sweden. To generate the response, the question is sent to the AI provider Anthropic (Anthropic Ireland, Limited), which may process it in the USA. The transfer is carried out in accordance with the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Anthropic does not use the question to train AI models and deletes it within 30 days, except where Anthropic’s terms and conditions require it to be retained for longer, for example to investigate misuse or where required by law. The data is never sold on.

How long?. Saved questions are automatically deleted after 90 days.

Your rights. You have the right to request access to, rectification and erasure of your data, and to object to its processing. As the queries are stored without being linked to any individual, we are usually unable to identify your specific queries. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Data Protection Authority, imy.se.

Cookies. The assistant does not set any cookies. Your current conversation remains in your browser’s cache until you close the tab.
