Tips for trips in the Stöten neighbourhood

There are always things to do in Stöten and in our neighbourhood - all year round.

Tips for excursions

With Stöten as your starting point, you're just a scenic drive from famous sights and destinations such as:

Bathing areas

  • Lake Närsjön - 1.5 miles - A nice swimming spot near Stöten with a jetty.
  • Lake Sörsjön - 3,1 mile - A nice bathing area with a diving tower with changing rooms and toilets. Adjacent to the bathing area is also Dalen restaurant where you can eat food and buy ice cream.
  • Experium - 3.5 miles - Adventure pool in Lindvallen with water slides and other fun.
  • Tjärnheden - 4.3 miles - Tjärnheden sports centre has a heated pool. Tjärnheden is located in connection with the Vasalopp start.
  • Sälen By - 4.2 miles - Park at Sälen Canoe Centre and take a dip from the jetty into the river.
