Ski school children 4-6 years
Of course, you'll get better at skiing - but you can also expect a lot of fun, games and laughter with the other friends in the group.
We'll make sure you feel safe on our slopes and promise that you'll love skiing after your ski school lessons. Each week ends with Vargy coming for a much appreciated visit. This is guaranteed to be an experience you'll carry with you for years to come!
For children, we have groups that run Monday-Friday or Friday-Saturday. Each group consists of 5-8 children depending on level and age. The end of the children's ski school takes place on Fridays during the last lesson when we mix skiing and fun with Vargy.

Green: Snögubbar, 4-6 years

Ski school for children who have never tried skiing before. We practice sliding, braking, button lifts and turning on the easiest slopes. We mainly stay on the ski school's own slope Vargen but we move to the green slopes around Soltorget when we are ready to go on an adventure. The skills of the group determine where we go.
Prerequisites: Be able to be away from parents for the duration of the lesson.
Blue: Snöstjärnor, 4-6 years

Ski school for children who have started skiing. We practice turning with better control, skiing in varied terrain and challenging balance. We mainly stay on the slopes around Soltorget and maybe take a few trips with Vargy Express! The skills of the group determine where we go.
Prerequisites: You can turn both ways, brake in a plough and stop with control on green slopes. You can ride a button lift by yourself and ride a chairlift with a parent or other adult. You can be away from parents during lesson time.
We have the possibility to move students to another more suitable group if the prerequisites are not met. This type of change is handled via the ski teacher.
Red: Snökanoner, 4-6 years

Ski school for children who are more advanced in their skiing. We practice our turns and our balance, maybe with a little more speed under the skis! We move towards steeper blue or maybe red terrain, the park and maybe some fun forest skiing if the weather permits. We mainly stay on the slopes around Soltorget and the lower World Cup slope. The group's skills determine where we go.
Prerequisites: You can turn both ways, brake and stop on blue slopes with good control and speed. You can ride a button lift by yourself and ride a chairlift with a parent or other adult. You can be away from parents during lesson time.
