Welcome to Stöten - a complete ski resort!
At The Sälen Mountains' northernmost ski resort there is something for everyone
Stöten has long been able to boast the best and most varied skiing Sälen has to offer. With a complete ski system and the Sälen Mountain's highest vertical drop of 398 metres, Stöten has long been a destination for beginners and professionals alike.

The family
What makes a ski resort a family favourite? Is it the longest slope in Sälen – Mormors Störtlopp on a green slope? Perfect for anyone who loves to cruise down the mountain with magnificent mountain views before your eyes. Here you will find popular Vargy Club, where lots of children's activities are organised every day with Vargy, the popular mascot of Stöten.
Here, parents don't always have to be present, but children and Vargy can have fun on their own, of course together with trained staff. In our Vattufjäll activity centre you will find water park, bowling and relaxation.
The professionals
Or what about the extreme skiers' favourite – Älvan? A black run that Freeride readers have named Sweden's best piste! Of course, there is also challenging off-piste skiing, as well as adventure arenas in Stöten Adventure with competitive challenges for all ages.
The bon vivant
A successful skiing holiday involves more than just skiing. The taste buds need their ride too! Capture the Alpine feeling over a fondue in Fjällkåtan, munch on waffles with hot chocolate in them Våffelstugan, or go to Brasseriet and enjoy exciting flavours in a cosy setting overlooking the slopes.
For those who want to choose
There are accommodation options to suit all needs and budgets. From large, luxuriously furnished log cabins to accommodation with bunk beds. There are fine pubs, simple cafés, popular bars and a very popular nightclub.
