At Stöten you are always close to nature. The high peaks and deep valleys of the mountains offer everything from adrenaline rushes to meditative calm. The four different seasons inspire very different activities and below you can read about some of them.

Winter

Ski resort of the year 2019 - Stöten is the obvious choice for those who want to experience Sweden's best skiing! Our complete facility contains everything you need for a skiing experience beyond the ordinary. As a northern European ski resort, we are also constantly growing.

Take your skiing skills to new levels this spring ski schooland if you need ski equipment, you will find everything you need in our ski shop- and letting. With our 49 slopes and 21 lifts you can experience many fast-paced adventures on skis, whether you are a beginner or an elite skier.

Spring

Cycling downhill - Perhaps you're not quite ready to give up the fast-paced downhill skiing when spring comes? Then we recommend you try swapping your skis for a bike! Downhill is a fun and popular activity that is perfect for those who enjoy whizzing down the mountain. There are plenty of cycle tracks and it's suitable for both the experienced and the beginner.

Baths and saunas - After a day in the mountains, your body needs a rest. From our sauna world you have unbeatable views of the mountains. Drift off and feel your muscles recovering and getting ready for the next adventure.

Summer

Rainfall - An option for those who don't mind water or getting wet, because you certainly will! Experience the powerful forces of nature as you descend the roaring rapids together as a group.

Moose safari - Take the chance to see the majestic king of the forest in his natural habitat up close. With the help of a knowledgeable guide, there is also the opportunity to see other wildlife that also lives in the Sälen mountains.

Autumn

Hiking - Hiking in the mountains in autumn is magical. Enjoying all the colours of nature is completely different from hiking in the summer months. You decide how long you want to be away or how far you want to walk, and if you want to pack really light, you can stay overnight in the huts along the trails and avoid having to bring a tent. Once up on the mountain, it's hard not to get swept up in the vast views.
