Now for the fun exercises...

Find common denominators

A fun exercise that is guaranteed to test the group's co-operation skills is the "Highest common denominator". The exercise works in such a way that employees are divided into smaller groups of about 3-5 people.

Each group is then tasked with finding something they all have in common. That is, the highest common denominator. Examples could be a film that everyone has seen, an artist that everyone likes or even a car brand that everyone owns. The only limit is your imagination. Or rather, the group's ability to work together...

Let the groups talk for 5-10 minutes before presenting their common denominators to each other. If the exercise goes down well with the employees, it is also possible to switch groups and do it again.

Various subdivision exercises

Further exercises that strengthen the group's co-operation skills are grouping exercises, which require all participants to form a queue based on a question. If the question is "who is the oldest in the group", the aim is to form a queue where the oldest is at the front and the youngest is at the back.

One of our personal favourites, however, is the "where did you grow up" division exercise. In this exercise, participants form a queue where the person at the front grew up closest to where you are. At the back is the person who grew up furthest away from the place.

Move the tennis balls

Moving tennis balls doesn't sound like much fun at first glance, but trust us - it is. Similar to the first exercise, employees should be divided into smaller groups of around 3-4 people.

Each group then has the task of moving tennis balls from one container to another. However, there is a catch - they cannot use their hands or arms. The team that manages to move the tennis balls first wins. This fun exercise is guaranteed to elicit a few laughs!

There you have it - three fun exercises to do at the conference. To energise your company and bring the team together, you can book a conference with us at Stöten in Sälen!
