At the Brasseriet we offer a packed New Year's Eve supper, followed by a festive nightclub, where we toast the New Year together in an atmosphere of bubbly joy. We also have some great Restaurant Ladan and Torsten's Restaurant offering impressive three-course dinners that start with a welcoming pre-dinner drink - a great start to your New Year's Eve!

We strongly recommend that you secure your accommodation as early as possible, preferably several months in advance, to get the best price and the widest choice of chalets and apartments. Many people travel up to the mountains during New Year, which can mean increased traffic. We recommend travelling early on the day of arrival. You can also choose to travel by bus or train to Mora or Malung and then take the connecting transfer, which can make the journey smoother. If you prefer to fly, there are also flights here, landing at Scandinavian Mountains Airport, which is only 20 minutes from Stöten!

Our top tip is to look for smaller apartments or chalets that are a little further from the centre. Booking well in advance is the best way to find accommodation that matches your budget when celebrating New Year in the mountains.
