7 fun indoor games
There may be days when you just want to stay in the chalet. Maybe it's because of bad weather, maybe it's because your muscles are tired of skiing, or maybe you just want to enjoy a day together in the cabin? Then it's perfect to have a bunch of fun games in stock! In this article, we share 7 fun games that are suitable for both adults and children.
Entertaining indoor games for all ages

If you've been skiing for days on end, or if the weather is really bad, it can actually be nice to spend a day in the chalet. However, to avoid getting restless or getting on each other's nerves, it's important to have something to keep you occupied. A bunch of fun games are therefore always good to have in stock! Below we share seven games that will turn a boring day at the cottage into a success!
Tip #1: Parlour games. A sure winner for any day at the cottage! Make sure to stock up on a good bunch of board games. Everything from UNO, Yahtzee and card games to Monopoly, In Other Words and Galenpanna. And don't forget all the things you can do with an ordinary deck of cards!
Tips #2: Family charades. This is a twist on the usual charades that is even more personalised, but also much more fun! Write down the names of family members, relatives or close friends on sticky notes. Fold them up and put them in a bowl. In turn, everyone takes a note and then has to play the person on the note, the others have to guess who the relative is! With a few props such as old clothes and gadgets, it can be a lot of fun!
Tip #3: Guess the scents. Using only your nose, try to figure out what something smells like. It could be coffee, cocoa, spices, fruit or perfume. The person or team with the most correct answers wins!
Tip #4: Candy stop. An exciting and thrilling game, especially for the little ones! One person turns away while the others line up the sweets on a piece of paper. Together, you choose one candy to be the "stop". The person can then take the sweets one by one, but if they take the one you have chosen, you shout stop and that's it! Maybe they get many, maybe none.

Tip #5: 20 questions. One of you in the cabin should think of a person. It could be anyone, a celebrity, a relative, a cartoon character or maybe even someone in the room. The rest of you will be given 20 yes and no questions to try to find out who the person is. Only you can decide how easy or difficult it will be!
Tip #6: Guess the song. One person puts on a pair of headphones and starts a song that only they can hear. By humming - without using any words - the others have to guess which song the person is humming.
Tip #7: Fish, poultry or in between. A real classic! This is a very simple and fun game that most adults have probably played as children! It involves hiding a small object, such as a spoon, in any place in the cabin. The person looking for it then asks if it is in a place that is fish, bird or in between. As the person walks around the cabin, they are helped to find the object by the person who has hidden it saying "warmer" if it is closer or "colder" if it is further away.
