Fun activities for pre-school children
At Stöten, we have lots of fun activities for children of all ages. But we realise that you might want to pass the time until the next time you see us. That's why we're sharing some suggestions for fun activities you can do at home!
Outdoor activities

Everyone enjoys being outside, young and old. Just make sure you dress for the weather and your outdoor activities will be a success! Below we list our top 5 outdoor tips.
Skipping rope - One activity that many children enjoy is skipping rope. They can jump alone with a short rope or with a group of children using a long jump rope. If children find one rope too easy, they can try using two long skipping ropes. This will make the jumps both faster and a little more difficult.
Outdoor games - A perfect outdoor game is easy to take along and suitable for all types of weather. For example, we think that boules, football, cube, giant pick-up sticks, badminton and tennis are really good options if you are looking for fun outdoor games. They can be taken on your bike and you can play on the beach, in the forest or in the garden.
Experiment - There are many educational experiments that you can try and perform in nature. For example, you could try mixing up your own giant soap bubbles to see how big you can blow them. Or why not plant three different types of tomatoes and study which grows the fastest, gets the biggest and tastes the best? In winter, you can investigate how flowers are affected by ice. Start by boiling water and pouring it over the flowers when the water has cooled, leave it out overnight and investigate in the morning!
Make sure you dress for the weather and the outdoor activities will be a success!
Sky TV - Of course, fun games need to be interspersed with time for peace and quiet. It is very relaxing to lie on the ground and look up at the sky and study the clouds. Then your imagination can run wild and the white dust can take just about any shape. What shapes do you see in the clouds?
Journey of discovery - Pack a small lunch and go exploring! Look for wild animals, follow secret paths and investigate strange tracks. Where will you end up and what will you find?
Indoor activities
When the weather is bad, you might want to stay indoors. That's why we're sharing 4 fun ideas you can do indoors below.

Massage saga - If you are two friends who enjoy a massage, you can create a fairy tale using gentle hand movements against your back. The hands can represent footsteps, the wind, car tracks, emotions and much much more. Let your imagination run wild while you have a little cuddle time!
Baka - In the kitchen, you can help to whisk, roll, sprinkle and taste things that you bake. It's great fun to let talented little bakers create a football cake, rainbow cupcakes, tiger cake or raspberry cakes. Fun to make - good to eat!
Dexterous artist - A really creative art form that suits children of all ages is finger painting. Forget brushes and create with your hands instead! It develops hand and finger muscles, increases knowledge of colour mixing and encourages artistic expression.

Theatre - If you like shows, you can rehearse your own theatre! Look through your grandparents' old wardrobes to find cool outfits to suit every character imaginable, then just rehearse a script and show off the premiere to the family!
