The highlight of the sports holidays:

Freeride Academy for freeride-curious teenagers

2025 - During the sports holidays, it's once again time for the popular Freeride Academy for all young people between the ages of 10 and 14 who are curious about freeriding. Together with our trained and experienced instructors, you get the chance to try forest, park and - weather permitting - freeriding in fluffy powder snow. It's definitely a sports holiday happening you don't want to miss!

Weeks 7-9 are busy as usual and there is plenty of fun to be had in Stöten, but the highlight of the sports holidays has to be Freeride Academy. This is a chance for young people to try out freeriding, a form of skiing that has become hugely popular with skiers of all ages in recent years.

The Freeride Academy is held every Wednesday and Friday and during the three-hour session we explore both the snow park's well-shaped jumps and nature's own obstacles in the form of jumps and drops in the forest. Together with our skilled instructors who are trained in park and freeride skiing, you explore the mountain and try skiing outside the piste boundaries.

Places for the Freeride Academy are limited, so it's first come, first served. In previous years, there has been incredible pressure on the coveted places, so sign up in Stötens app or on the website in good time to secure your place!

To participate in the Freeride Academy, you need to have good skiing experience, be able to ski unhindered and controlled on black slopes and have experience of both forest and park skiing.
