Dog sledding in Sälen

Dog sledding is often an unforgettable experience for the whole family, young and old. This year, a new dog sledding operator is offering dog sledding experiences in Stöten. In addition, a new loop has been created that allows for a longer and more enjoyable ride behind our four-legged friends. Join us on a nature adventure with Peakpoints in Stöten and create a memory for life!

The start and finish of the dog team is at the lower roundabout in Stöten, right next to the new campsite. Here, every Wednesday and Friday from 11am to 2pm, the dogs and their handlers are ready to take you on a unique experience. During the 20-minute dog sledding tour, you'll get to experience the amazing nature from the front row, cuddle with the dogs, of course take photos and learn everything you didn't know about sled dogs.

And last but not least; experience what it is like to rush through Stöten's nature in total silence except for the rush when the dogs move forward in the snow. After the tour, we cuddle with the dogs and talk about what it is like to work with sled dogs and about their different personalities. A cosy moment together with the kind and safe dogs simply!

Outside the harness, the dogs, all of which are Alaskan Husky breeds, live a good life in safe conditions. Peakpoint's basic philosophy is to ensure that the dogs have the best possible life and that they are happy and well-trained to give guests a great experience. Take the chance and treat yourself and your companion to a mountain experience and create new great memories together.
