Find cheap ski holidays in Sweden
During winter, many people are tempted to visit the Swedish mountains to ski with friends and family - but they want to get away as cheaply as possible. Skiing in Sweden doesn't have to be expensive, here are our top tips for a cheap skiing holiday!

Tips and tricks for a cheaper ski holiday
Book a package holiday
One of the best ways to get away cheaply with your ski holiday is to book a package holiday that includes both accommodation and lift passes. Check out our packages and offers page to see all our package holidays that can give you a better price for your holiday.
Travel in low season
Christmas, New Year, sports holidays and Easter are usually the most expensive times to visit a ski resort. Instead, choose to visit us during the low season and there's usually money to be saved. As a bonus, you also avoid queues and congestion on the slopes - it's a win-win!
Reduce housing requirements
Think about what's important to you when booking your holiday and what your priorities are. All the accommodation in Stöten is of a high standard and within walking distance of the slopes, so whichever you choose, you'll be staying in a great location close to the slopes! But if you're going to be spending every waking minute on the slopes, maybe you can compromise on a few amenities?
Hire equipment instead of buying
As a beginner, it can be a good idea to rent equipment instead of buying. Ski equipment is expensive and if you rent, you will always have modern and well-prepared equipment for every holiday. Plus, you won't have to lug it around! Find out more about ski hire in Sälen!

Cook your own food
If you want to save money during your holiday, we recommend that you cook your own food instead of eating out. In Stöten there are several warming huts and barbecue areas where you can cook and eat your packed lunch. Tips on good food to bring to the slopes are pancakes (just as good hot as cold and can be eaten without cutlery), sandwiches, pasta salad and sausages with bread to throw on the grill!
