6 tips for summer storage
A perfect chore on rainy summer days is to take care of your ski equipment. This way, your equipment will last longer and you'll be ready to go when the snow starts to fall. Follow our tips!
Ski and snowboard equipment

Tip #1: Valley with summer whey
The summer wax is greasy and keeps your skis dry and fresh for winter adventures. When the first skiing holiday approaches, you scrape off the summer wax and put on regular wax instead.
Tip #2: Extract moisture with silica bags
Before putting your ski boots or snowboard boots away for the summer, it is important that they are completely dry. A good trick is to put them in silica bags that can soak up moisture and odours over the summer - and give them a fresh pair of boots just in time for their first ride.
Extend the life of your equipment with the right treatment and storage during summer
Tip #3: Tighten to maintain shape
Make sure that the buckles are tightened to maintain the shape of the boot. This should always be done after the boots or booties have been worn.
Clothing
Tip #4: Wash and dry
To remove any unwanted odours and maintain the function and quality of your clothes, it's a good idea to wash and dry them completely before storing them for the summer. Then you'll be ready to go when winter approaches!
Tip #5: Store in a closed environment
Once dry, the clothes are stored either in boxes or in vacuum bags, to prevent insects and other hungry little delights from feeding on your newly purchased underwear.

Tip #6: Grease your gloves
A must-have tip if you care about your leather or leather ski gloves! Lubricate your gloves with glove grease to keep the material from drying out and extend their lifespan.
