Sledging, snowracing and tailgating

Taking the kids out sledding, snowracing or tailgating is often a popular activity for young and old alike. You can pull the youngest in the sledge while the older children can have fun on the slopes on their own.

Skates

If it's a bad winter with little snow, you can take the kids to an ice rink. Or why not go on a frozen lake outdoors? This is a great activity for slightly older children who are already sharp on the grills, but also for smaller children who are just learning to skate. The earlier you start practising skating with your child, the easier it will be for them to pick up the technique.
